Guest Mr_Toad Posted 18 February , 2004 Share Posted 18 February , 2004 I have only now found that my Grandmothers father not only served but perished in the War. He was: HUXLEY, H J SE/18093 a Serjeant of the Army Veterinary Corps, with the RFA. (part of 52nd Army Bde. He was lost on Aug. 22, 1918. Can anyone help with where he enlisted from or any other info. Shame that upon his widows remarriage a family name and history seems to have been lost so long ago. Amazing that I got this from the graves commission, now I understand why the say the survivors are harder to trace. Regards, Bill
