Maps On Cd-rom

I'll stick my neck out here and say that I found it good value for money and handy for what I wanted, although it now refuses to work on my new PC!

I found the Trench maps CD Rom excellent and the zoom features are great. However I have found that I do not use it much as I thought I would.

I also bought the Official History Maps CD Rom, but, I later sold it on Ebay. My main interest is the Somme and I found there was only a few maps concerning the 1916 battles on it. I was expecting the Official History map for the 1st July, 1916, to be on there at least, and it was not.

Regards.... Terry

At the moment the CD Rom does not work on XP but will do when a patch is available on the Naval and Military website.

You will be able to zoom in and print out if you wish small sections of the map. I find it useful but it duplicates to a large extent the maps in the Chausseus collection 'Topography of Armageddon.
