Muerrisch Posted 20 January , 2008 Share Posted 20 January , 2008 I have never seen a definitive list of the various dicings on the various headgears and the various socks/ hose tops whatever. Colours involved seem to always include white, usually red, sometimes blue, sometimes green and possibly yellow. I have 'uniform' books by the score, and my own notes, but am not confident I have the full picture. Please?

Dan Morton Posted 21 January , 2008 Share Posted 21 January , 2008 Joe - Are you talking about the French Armes Militaria or the English language Militaria magazines? I only ask because I know you've published in Armes Militaria. All the best, Dan

Joe Sweeney Posted 21 January , 2008 Share Posted 21 January , 2008 Grumpy, The magazine is the French Armes Militaria Magazine. http://militaria.histoireetcollections.com/ The magazine is fairly widespread outside of France and can be ordered issue by issue via the web site. Part 1 (Overview and Kilts and aprons) will be out in a few issues. Glens and hosetops in part II by the summer. Joe Sweeney
Muerrisch Posted 23 January , 2008 Author Share Posted 23 January , 2008 Joe thank you. My 'O' level French is far inferior to my '13 years in Germany' German, however. Its a bougre.
