Muerrisch Posted 2 December , 2003 Share Posted 2 December , 2003 Scrabbling around [as one does] in my miscellaneous pile [the biggest of all] I came across a debate in old SOLDIER magazines regarding the existence of a rank or appointment of "King's Corporal", from which, legend goes, only the Sovereign could bust one. It seemed to me an inconclusive debate. Certainly the story goes round and round. Of course, there were corporals with a crown above two chevrons, Household Cavalry at least. Can anyone shed authoratative light, please?
