Remembered Today:

SS Northland

Hello folks,

I'm trying to find a picture or data on the SS Northland. This vessel conveyed the 2/4th RWK from Plymouth Devonport to Mudros in June 1915.

Prior to that an SS Northland (I'm not sure if it is the same one but am assuming so for now!) conveyed the 28th Canadian Battalion to Plymouth from Canada. In In 1916 an SS Northland conveyed the 1st Overseas Construction Battalion from Canada to Liverpool and inMay 1919 another ship called the SS Northland conveyed the 6th Canadian Infantry battalion to Liverpool from Canada.

How or where can I find data on the Northland? Could there be more than one?

Would love to see a photo of the NOrthland if anyone has one!

Thanks

Nick
