Hi i know the date is leading up to the Battle of Loos but i can't seem to find them in the area (probably cant see the woods for the trees knowing me).

Any help would be helpful.

Also need to know what they were doing from the start of the war through to this time. Any good suggestions for a read up ? Web preferably.

Thanks

Ralph.

Ouderdom. On the 12th Sep the 4th Bn had "Church parade. Glorious day". The following day the Bn was warned off to relieve the 10th Bn Sherwood Foresters in Trenches A 4-11 inclusive on 14th/15th.

Than you andy for your offer. I'm not really sure of dates if only because the man i'm looking into is in from the start. Maybe a month or so before the 12th of september.
