Phase 2 of WO 95 digitisation - some diaries unorderable

Sorting and conservation of a further set of war diaries for digitisation has begun. This will mean that various diaries will not be available for ordering to the reading room for various periods for the remainder of 2014 and the frist few months of 2015. Essentially the affected material is the remainder of the France and Flanders diaries, corps and higher formations, lines of communication etc.

I wish I had seen this earlier. I have just fixed up a trip to the UK and wanted to have a look at 9th Battalion Tank Corps and relevant higher levels papers, only to find out yesterday that they are not available until a week after my planned visit. Looking on the bright side I suppose it means that they will be available soon over the internet. Has anyone any idea how long that will be after the end of the "non-available" period?

Publishing dates aren't finalised yet (there are still quite a lot of variables overall in the process of sorting, scanning, QAing images and processing into the backend systems), don't expect anything before April 2015 at the earliest.
