I have compiled a War diary Master List which includes those diaries which are held by members who share the information - PM me for a copy

The above download includes the Canadian War Diaries (which are still listed on Post 127) and the Australian and NZ (which are listed on post 233). At the moment these posts are being edited as changes are minimal.

You are welcome to add this diary which I have transcribed: 101st Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps from its creation 3rd November 1915 to its end 19th May 1919. I can search it if required.

1 Northumberland Fusiliers Augu 1914 to Sept 1916 (except Sept/Oct/Nov 1915 - 'missing' at NA)

Sept, Oct, Nov 1915 isn't missing. A typeset copy of these months were made at the time and can be found with the remainder of the diary.

Evening All.

I have the "complete" war diaries for the following.

4th Battalion Royal Fusiliers(City of London).

24th Battalion Royal Fusiliers (City of London) 2nd Sportsmen.

Both have been transcribed into typed format.

I have:

1. Adobe copies (from NA) of the 1st Somerset Light Infantry August 1914 to December 1918.

2. Hard copy of 311th Brigade RFA January to December (inc) 1917

3. Hard copy of the 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment 18th April 1915 to 31st July 1915 inclusive and April to July 1917 inclusive.

4. Hard copy of 23rd Battalion Middlesex Regiment 1st July 1917 to 6th August 1917 inclusive

The more I listed "please PM Shayman" or the other members, I did wonder if a monster was being let loose but overall it does show how extensive members researchers are. I know from trying to find out the details of some 400 soldiers, the helpfullness of members knows no bounds.

I did think of adding the Division against each Battalion but got concerned about the totality of the information as the problem with the revised list is that it takes some time to upload!

I have the Diary of the 1st Cheshires - Aug - Dec 1914 - also available from - here which has a downloadable .pdf attachment.

Also 1st and 2nd Bns Leicestershire Regiment - also Aug - Dec 1914 - please PM me for transcriptions + footnotes about casualties etc.

I have 1st Coldstream Guards - March to September 1916 inclusive - mentions within Irish, Scots & Grenadiers (If it helps).
