I would much appreciate a copy of the War Diaryof 3rd Battalion Coldstream Guards for the 1916/18 period.My Grandfather 15689 Pte.J.Jackson won his MM 9th October 1917 near Cinc Chemins(Battle of Poelcappelle.Living in Spain makes research difficult but as a very recent newcomer to the Forum I am amazed at the help.robertohoyle@msn.com

This one obviously slipped by me at the time. Would there be any chance of

War Diary: FRANCE, BELGIUM AND GERMANY, 1 Battalion Coldstream Guards. 1914 Aug - 1914 Dec.

I only have the Long service/conduct list for 1st Life Guards.

Only about 10 entries for 1918.

Do you have a lot of these long service and good conduct medal lists? I too have the 1st Life Guards, in fact the whole of the Household Cavalry but was looking for all cavalry regiment's good conduct medal lists. I know the PRO has them but if you have them, and would be willing to let me have a copy that would be great.
