On Thursday, son, who is going off for a weekend in Benidorm Espania! says that he needs to go to our local Sainsburys store where they have a bureau de change. No problem dear boy, lets go get some €'s

Mission accomplished out we go into the snow and mount up in beloved Renault. I reverse out of my car parking space and stop to put on my seatbelt (Horrible bleeps and buzzers inside the car if you drive off without it on)

Out the corner of my eye I catch sight of a car merrily backing up towards my rear offside. No time to move......Hit the horn......CRUNCH !!!!

The air inside dear Renault turned rather Blue,however the other driver was a dear old lady who simply hadnt seen me. She has admitted its all her fault and now dear Renault has to go and have her dress resprayed and adjusted back into shape.

Later dear reader the airline transporting son and his mate to Alicante get in touch to say the plane now leaves at 0620 hours Friday morning and not 1045 hours as they advertised.

So at 0100 today 'we' all set out for Stansted airport. Was a bit unsure of the road conditions due to the recent snow fall

Got home at 0700, knackered. Had a text off son at about 1130 to say he was just tucking into a large pizza and a swift shandy. Don't you just love em?
