Once again I'll be attending the National Family History Fair at Gateshead on the 9th September.
I first went in 2004 as an individual and last year went as part of the party from the Lanarkshire Family History Society. This will be the second year we have had a table.
It's a great way to pick up some hints and tips, learn about any new developments, and of course discover any new publications.
Last year I spent rather a lot...and I expect I'll do the same again this year. There's always a few societies with a Roll of Honour, or a book on local participation in the war. It's books like this you might never normally find that make the trip worthwhile.
So if anyone else is going, come along to the LFHS table and say hello. If you say you're one of the "Pals", I'll give you a discount on our Wishaw and Cambusnethan Roll of Honour CD...
