100 YEARS AGO TODAY: Canada's Hundred Days - 99.

As Canada's Hundred Days is about to end, troops have already begun to march to assembly areas for the March to the
Rhine - The Allied Occupation of Germany.  Formal ceremonies for the Canadian Corps are to be held in Grand Place, Mons
tomorrow.  Allied POWs are released and begin to reach the former front lines, Thursday, 14th November 1918.

Ted, can I just say how much I've enjoyed reading your blog; it's been brilliant.

I agree a brilliant read and for me very helpful in understanding my Grandfathers journey with the 56th London Div, who were attached to the Canadians, and finished just south of Mons. I look forward to you 100th Post as he took part in the parade in Mons.
