In a couple of weeks, we will return to Queant Communal Cemetery British Extension to visit the highest ranking officer of the C.E.F.
to have been killed in combat during the Great War.
Notice I did not say highest ranking Canadian officer of the C.E.F. in the Great War (which would have been Major General Mercer in
1916).
