John Turnbull Wood 1260430

John Wood was born on October 15, 1887 in Hawick, Scotland, son Of Mrs. W. Robson, Of Cowichan Bay, British Columbia. Not much is known about his early life or other family members. As a young man, John immigrated to Canada, where he settled in Victoria, British Columbia with his aunt and uncle. At time of enlistment, he was single and employed as a motorman. On April 12, 1916, John Wood enlisted with the 15th Brigade Canadian Field Artillery. Bombardier Wood arrived in England on September 22,
